TheCorridor.tv - english version

The Corridor is a brand new crossmedia platform which merge traditional tv-interviews, biographies, online and mobile device with user interaction. The Corridor is tv-portraits of powerful and interesting people such as politicians, CEO’s, writers and opin- ion formers.

The Corridor is the exclusive online club where paying users can view portraits of interesting people with valuable knowledge and insight. Who is behind the facade and what are their secrets to success, achieving goals, leading companies etc. Predefined themes as: childhood, career, personal values, success, power, leadership, dreams, opportunities, family, bad / good world etc.

The video matrix model

The user can watch a two-hour-portrait of one person talking about all 15 subjects, or he can watch all people talk about career or management. The concept is a counterpoint to traditional broadcast tv – where a broadcaster (and distributor) funds the content – moreover with a (in Denmark) declining perminute price. In this concept the income come either from the individual user who pays a monthly fee of € 10, or a company/organisation who buys a white label solution and gives access to its employees/mem- bers.

Project stage

The Corridor was launched in Denmark September 1st 2010 with 25 portraits and every month a new portrait is published. After six moths online TheCorridor has reached 500 paying members (Converting Rate 1%) who pay € 10 per person per month and 1,000 newsletter subscribers. In April 2011 we will launch an iPad-version of TheCorridor, which give the au- dience the opportunity to buy one portrait, the whole series of portrait, a subject or sign in as a month member.

Going global

Our goal is to make The Corridor global and to offer an international approach to the users. The first step is to make a nordic version and next step Europe and so on. Thus we are looking for ambi- tious nordic partners with knowl- edge of tv-production and espe- cially partners who see the great potential in co-producing this brand new project and be the first full nordic cross media project which merge digital platforms and traditional tv-con- tent.

The project is developed (technical platform, web- streaming, server etc.) and proven in Danish context and is now ready for adaption into other nordic lan- guages and use of the technical platform and brand. Our nordic partners will produce and maintain The Corridor according to the concept-maunal. The busi- ness model will be an even split on income.
